The Online Goods

In 1994, I produced what was to be my last "noiseletter", which were diskette sized applications I'd build in Visual Basic 3. A friend had hooked me up with an application called Goldwave which allowed me record in somewhat CD quality audio (the computers weren't really fast enough to handle it for too long of a sample) of music. So I'd embed the 1 MB (give or take) of audio I could fit onto the 1.34 MB limit of the application and ship these diskettes all over the globe.
What a chore! And yes, you had to install the program on your drive.
The noiseletters survived one more incarnation: as the inbetween pieces on T*CTIQ. Fortunately for you and me (albeit a decade later), you can just click on a link and go. Makes a little more sense. :)
