Society Burning
Alright, alright... I'll post some sobu news:
State of Decay is coming to an iTunes near you...I'll give a complete update on when it's available.
What is State of Decay? Well - thank you for asking - it's the album that we completed in 1994 that would only go out to a handful of journalists and record label bosses - that would go on to be 'rockified' into TACTIQ - that would get forgotten for a decade and a half - that would be available on iTunes in 2009.
_
Tactiq will be available on iTunes shortly as well. I'll get a note out on that one as well.
_
Internal Combustion? Yep - it's being wrapped up this April. We've been a little bad and purposely leaked some audio here and there...go find it and enjoy...

Doesn't Mean Sh*t running up the GB Charts
Crossover track "Doesn't Mean Sh*t" is running up the charts @ garageband.com. Thanks to everyone reviewing the song for driving it to a 5 star rating!
Nevermind, too, it's the first vocal Boom track for about 10 years now. Now - go.

New Release - Somewhat....
So the release that started off this whole "Boom chr Paige" solo stuff - Primary has been rereleased under the Audiocomm International label. The audio lineup has changed drastically from the original (which was an MP3.com only experiment).
1) Audiocomm Introduction - bizarre noisy drum based romp which served as the intro to many Audiocomm MP3 stations. 2001
2) Flip - the track that started the attention. Written in 1999. Original uncut track included on the CD.
3) Lie Called Life (Original) - the track that started the endeavor. Written in 1999. Cleaned up a smidge for this release 2007.
4) Minus (1) - first track to get multimedia attention. also first track to forray into hard trance (that didn't last long). Written in early 2002, left unchanged.
5) The Physical Layer - first track to use only one audio application to create the work beginning to end. Written in one sitting 2006.
6) LED - first track to lose completely to a computer virus. This included track was the best copy I had left of the song which was the incomplete version unfortunately. Written in 2001.
7) The Inner Storm (move 1) - the first time to use the guitar to write the all of the synth parts and then completely erradicate all guitars from the final mix. Just fun. No idea when this materialized.
8) Corruptive or c0rrupt!v3 - first unfinished idea to send to a multimedia organization as a completed idea. :). Written in 2000.
9) Out of Darkness - the only song written as a tribute to not having to deal with chemotherapy any longer. Written sometime in late 1999.
10) The Dead - the first time to exploit lyrics by tracey. Fixed the "Sopranos"-like ending in 2007, while the main work was written in 2002.
11) The Inner Storm (move 2) - first time to use an acoustic guitar as a lead instrument. It is the only instrument other than VAZ and fruity loops in the track.
12) Lie Called Life (Elektro Mix) - first time that I've purposefully included one of an album's best tracks at the second to last song, as well as dub it a remix and a bonus track. :) Redone (meaning two samples came over from the original) in 2005.
13) The Inner Storm (move 3) - the first time I ever admit that I love ending albums with slow, depressing, and unsatisfying tracks. Written sometime in the past 7 years.
sobu???
yep...just around the corner. had a heart to heart with twitch last week. we'll get off our asses and start abusing the tech properly. y'know - it wouldn't be sobu if there wasn't a freakin' ton of bs to roll it in... :)

Last Day on YouTube
How fun! Out of nowhere, I found a link (okay - out of Google) where a Sam Wrangles used about 15 seconds of the breakdown from "Drug Stained Eyes" in his animation! Hoorah! Thank you, Sam!
You can check out his work here
Sam: obviously, the peace to chaos back to peace is always how I'd imagined. Very nice piece!
